Little Crush Red is a dry, vibrant Syrah with aromas of candied violet and pink peppercorn. The palate is filled with dried cranberry, gooseberry, and wild blueberry, supported by balanced acidity and a soft, approachable texture. It can be served lightly chilled for an especially fresh expression.
The Syrah grapes were gently destemmed and fermented in concrete cubes for two weeks. The ferment was handled carefully each day to build colour while limiting the extraction of bitter flavours. The wine then matured for a further four months before bottling.
Food pairings: Barbecued meats, Mexican dishes, and aged cheeses.
