Made with 100% Syrah, each bundle was gently destemmed and fermented in concrete cubes for two weeks. During the fermentation process, the young wine was gently pressed daily to extract a rich colour while avoiding leaching bitter flavours. Following this process, the wine was matured for an additional four months before bottling.
Brut dry at 2 grams of sugar per litre, Little Crush Red is deliciously balanced between acidity and softness.
The Little Crush Red has lovely aromas of candied violet petals and pink peppercorn, and the palate is brimming with dried cranberry, gooseberry, and wild blueberry. Enjoy the Little Crush Red chilled or pair with barbecue meats, Mexican dishes, and aged cheeses.
